Lift and Pull without Pain There are two things that many of us have to deal with regularly and in most cases, there is very little that can be done to get rid of either of them entirely. The first of these is that many of us need to work in order to earn a living and we may be stuck doing physical work, regardless of whether we want to do that physical work or not. Another thing that goes right along with this is the fact that many of us are experiencing chronic pain as a result of the physical work that we are doing. This can turn into a vicious cycle that is difficult to escape. There are, thankfully, some things that can be done which will help you to reduce the amount of pain that you are feeling naturally. The first thing that you need to do is to identify why it is that you are having pain as a result of the work that you are doing. Perhaps it is a repetitive stress injury, such as an injury to the rotator cuff or carpel tunnel syndrome. If this is the case, you may need to change the way that you are doing the work that you are doing in order to relieve the stress that is being put on that area of the body. For example, if you are currently employed and it is required that you lift heavy things over your head regularly, you may need to switch the way that you are lifting in order to alleviate the pressure on your shoulder. Another thing that you can do is to make sure that you are lifting and pulling properly if you do these on a regular basis. Most of us tend to get in a hurry whenever we are working, and it certainly does help to be able to get our work done on time. You need to make sure that you are not sacrificing proper technique as a result of being in a hurry, however. For example, never lift and twist at the same time and whenever you are lifting, make sure that you are lifting with your legs and not with your back. By using the proper form whenever you are doing these motions, you will have a much better opportunity of dealing with the pain successfully and being able to continue to work.
